Welcome, I’m Laura

Flowers were one of the ways my mami would celebrate her children’s birthdays. A tradition that planted an impression. This ritual of giving florals was love, celebration, and remembrance and was present at every birthday of my six siblings and me without fail.

Upon the onset of adult responsibilities, I worked part-time at Sendik’s as a florist while in college full-time. This job was a labor of love; I looked forward to it and was excited to help clients during those late closing shifts.

From that experience, my family began to ask me to create bouquets for their loved ones' special occasions. They trusted my eye and taste to create for them whatever I imagined. This, I told myself, creating florals, was what I wanted to continue doing. COVID-19 brought many changes to our lives, including a wave of support and influence to pay attention to small businesses. During a time when many people were struggling mentally, my purpose was to bring happiness through florals. This was my chance, and I took it to start Brava Blooms in 2021. The landscape of our every day was altered, including our gatherings, celebrations, and remembrances. Flowers are a way to show presence, care, and affection.

Brava Blooms is my way of bringing healing to myself and my community.

What Brava Blooms is inspired by.

Intentionality.

Flowers function, they backdrop the distanced memories, serve as tokens of proof, accompany us through moments, set the tone, and transform spaces. Our carefully curated designs are made to your unique aesthetic to bring you what you need. Plus a little love and joy too.

A supportive ecosystem of humans raises and influences us. We want to be a positive pull in giving our community form by making flowers accessible and keeping our roots alive.

Community.

We embrace your inspiration and occasion to provide a customized design. Part of the fun is reimagining and creating unconventional arrangements that you and your loved ones will admire.

Creativity.
